ABOUT ME

Painting is the most creative activity in my life. I’m an Italian artist and I started painting when I was 4 years old, but after graduating in communication design I started working too hard and did not have enough time for my paintings. Thus after many trips all over the world I decided to start again.

In my opinion, one of the biggest challenges for a talented, emerging artist, is being able to forget that his artwork is going to be judged, confronted, valued and bought in away that doesn't necessarily respect the artist's skill and dedication. It's a barrier that might determine success or failure. Most artists succumb to this; Elena and her striking, original artwork don't; instead, they represent a soul searching for meaning and enlightenment. The main things that struck me about Elena's paintings was her use of colors and the composition in each of them. When browsing a gallery these are the first elements that capture my attention and draw me towards a particular piece. Her wonderful choice of colors and arrangements make for some beautiful paintings, all of which could be used as the centerpiece for designing your favorite space around. Tutto ciò che i suoi occhi hanno catturato, il suo vissuto, la sua cultura e la sua energia vengono fuori con passione nelle sue tele, comunicazione dinamica delle sue emozioni. Nella sua arte c'è ricerca, sperimentazione, sfida e improvvisazione e tutto in una grande armonia e con un uso sapiente dei colori.  Si passa da tele ricche di accenti e tonalità con un cromatismo intenso e dai forti contrasti, ma anche caldo e ammaliatore, a quelle monocromatiche con prevalenza di un colore forte ed incisivo, i rossi infuocati che irrompono e il pennello sembra muoversi e lavorare con la spatola. A volte l'istantanea fotografica è convertita in pittura evidenziando tuttavia il movimento della stesura del colore. Vedo Immagini catturate con gli occhi, elaborate con la fantasia, sfuocate come un attimo fuggente che mai si fissa per quello che è realmente ma per come si imprime nell'anima...emozioni contrastanti si sovrappongono d'istinto, in ogni quadro non c'è mai un solo stato d'animo..cerco il calore, lo trovo ovunque, nei colori o nella mano che dipinge...ma percepisco anche un senso di quiete e un sottile velo di malinconia....contrasti che rendono affascinanti e incredibilmente profonde le tue opere...come del resto affascinante è la pantera che ha graffiato queste tele...by Richard  - Italy

Riesci a catturare con i dipinti dei tuoi felini...una forza invisibile, immediate intuizioni, esplosioni d'energia, acute percezioni....essi, i felini, sono equipaggiati di tutto questo, e se hai vissuto con gatti puoi percepire che hanno degli slanci appassionati, impulsi travolgenti, inesauribili...che li spingono ostinatamente verso la salvezza.....verso la ricostruzione di qualsiasi integrita' spezzata. Come un grande albero, che per quando minacciato dalle malattie, colpito dalle intemperie, aggredito dalla furia umana, non muore mai, ma miracolosamente e con pazienza continua a nutrirsi attraverso le proprie radici...by C.Mustyle - New Jersey
